IMAGINE...azure seas and emerald isles and BIRDS, BIRDS, BIRDS
Project Bird Watch invites YOU to join us on our eco-expeditions to the beautiful remote, exotic, idyllic islands of Indonesia.
We visit local villages, camp in the rainforest, and observe the indigenous birds and animals. Indonesia is blessed with incredible sea gardens, idyllic, tropical beaches and wonderful landscapes rich with a great variety of endemic plant and animal species. Depending on where we go, you will have the opportunity to see Moluccan, Triton, and Palm cockatoos, Eclectus parrots, lories, lorikeets, and Great Bill parrots in their natural environment, as well as hornbills, Birds of Paradise and exotic pigeons and doves. Some of the world's most otherworldly coral reefs are only a splash away. You will also have time to explore and enjoy Bali. These special trips are only open to a small number of lucky travellers at a time and prices vary based on itinerary and the number of people on the trip.
"Sleeping in the canopy provides guests with one of the most magical experiences in the world: going to sleep and waking up to the natural rhythm of the jungle. A night in the platform can change you forever!"
Perhaps the best thing about our voyages is that all of the proceeds go to provide alternative income to the native villagers and aid in our efforts to protect the native Cockatoos and Parrots of Indonesia.
Our upcoming trip will include visits to: Bali, Ambon and Seram
